2026 Chairman’s Gala: Decode the night
Join us for an exclusive evening as we share an important evolution—one that will shape the future of our organization and our region. The annual Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce Chairman’s Gala will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, in the Texas Ballroom at Safari Texas Ranch. Proudly presented by TDECU, this year’s theme, “Decode The Night” invites the business community to step into an evening of recognition and connection, where the night will be decoded once and for all.
The evening begins with a complimentary cocktail reception at 6:00 p.m., setting the tone for a high-energy night that celebrates the leadership, volunteer service, and community impact that continue to drive Fort Bend County forward. Guests will enjoy dinner and a program led by Outgoing Chair Jim Rice, Rice & Gardner Consultants, Inc., highlighting key accomplishments from 2025, recognizing retiring Board Members and Division Chairs, and presenting the Chamber’s Community Spirit Award and Chairman’s Award. A hallmark moment of the evening will be the formal leadership transition as Jim Rice introduces Incoming 2026 Chair Tariq Zafar, Wong Fleming. Zafar will share his vision for the year ahead and present the 2026 Executive Officers, launching the Chamber into its next chapter of growth and regional impact.
Following the program, the night unfolds into an immersive after-party experience featuring an array of casino games, photo ops, desserts and libations, and live entertainment by Password.
