ABOUT THE PROJECT
What is Pathways to Prosperity?
Pathways to Prosperity is a Fort Bend Regional Partnership initiative created to better understand the needs, opportunities, and resource gaps experienced by immigrant residents.
Through this research-informed project, the Partnership is bringing together community organizations and trusted partners to hear directly from residents and ensure that future programs, resources, partnerships, and advocacy efforts respond to the needs of the immigrant community.
Fort Bend County was selected as a Gateways for Growth (G4G) awardee, receiving research, technical assistance, and planning support from the American Immigration Council and Welcoming America to better understand the needs of immigrant residents and develop strategies that strengthen opportunity and inclusion across the county.
Working Through Trusted Community Partners
We are working with nonprofit organizations, faith-based groups, cultural organizations, sector chambers, and other trusted community partners to reach residents in safe and familiar spaces.
These partners are helping share the survey, support language access, and encourage participation from residents throughout Fort Bend County. The project will also include multilingual outreach, focus groups, and listening opportunities hosted in partnership with trusted organizations.

ABOUT THE SURVEY
The Pathways to Prosperity survey gives immigrant residents an opportunity to share their experiences, needs, challenges, and priorities.
The survey is part of a countywide needs assessment designed to help the Partnership better understand the experiences of immigrant residents and identify areas where additional support, resources, or opportunities may be needed.
Why This Work Matters
Fort Bend County is home to a large and diverse immigrant community. Residents bring global experience, talent, cultures, languages, and ideas that strengthen the county’s economy and community. This project helps ensure that future decisions and programs are informed by the experiences of the people who live and work in Fort Bend County.
How Information Will Be Used
Survey findings will be presented through a public research report and community briefing. The information will also be shared with local leaders, nonprofit organizations, sector chambers, civic partners, and other community stakeholders.
The findings will help identify community priorities and guide future programming, partnerships, resources, and advocacy efforts.
Help Shape What Comes Next
The survey takes only a few minutes. By participating, this can help improve future programs, resources, opportunities, and partnerships across Fort Bend County.
Pathways to Support: A Fort Bend Resource Guide
The Pathways to Support Resource Guide connects immigrant residents and families with trusted, accessible resources that can help address immediate needs and barriers related to stability, employment, opportunity, and navigating services in Fort Bend County.
