Over the course of ten months, participants will embark on an intensive leadership journey designed to foster community awareness, civic responsibility, and professional growth. The program begins with an opening retreat in San Antonio, setting the stage for collaboration and leadership development. Each month, class members will gain first-hand insights into the systems that shape our region, with immersive sessions on topics such as criminal justice, diversity, economic development and infrastructure, health and social services, education, and municipal and county government. The program also includes a two-day trip to Austin for state government discussions and a special three-day national government session in Washington, D.C. The experience concludes with a closing retreat and graduation in Galveston, celebrating the achievements of the class and their readiness to serve our community.
The Fort Bend Leadership Forum continues to thrive under the direction of Division Co-Chairs Breah Campbell of Si Environmental, Dr. Jay Neal of the University of Houston, and Dr. Kevin Riles of Kevin Riles Commercial, whose leadership ensures that this long-standing program remains the region’s premier leadership development experience.
